As we navigate COVID-19, our biggest commitment is keeping students, parents/guardians, and teachers safe and healthy.  Of course it’s not business as usual for us, but we’re doing all that we can to take care of our community while keeping our school moving forward in these uncertain times.

Our online classes have been very successful and this is due to the amazing commitment of our teachers and students in making it work.  We are also very proud of our students who are currently submitting their music exams by video for the Royal Irish Academy and wish them every success.

We are introducing new arrangements for our school when we reopen to ensure that we keep everyone safe.  Please take the time to read these carefully as there is also important information below regarding registration for the new academic year in 2021/22.

NEW CLASS TIMES & ARRANGEMENTS FOR SOCIAL DISTANCING

If students wish, they can opt to do more of their lessons online (subject to age and level of student);

  • Only students will be permitted in the school.  Students should only attend at class time and not wait in the building.  If students are late for class, it will not be possible to make up this time.

  • There will be no facilities within the school for parents/guardians to wait for students.  However, for very young students, the teacher will greet them at the door and return them to parent/guardian at the end of the class.

  • Other recommendations as provided for by the HSE will be followed e.g. use of face masks, hand washing and hand sanitisers as appropriate and we would respectfully recommend that all students follow these guidelines;
